Alliance flight manual, English translation

There is now an English translation of the original French flight manual for the Alliance.
The translation was prepared by Max Fawcus over several weeks this summer, and checked by Andy Bardgett and myself. My grateful thanks to Max for his considerable efforts.

Alliance pilots are particularly encouraged to read this manual. If you spot any errors or anything that doesn't make sense, please let me know. The original French manual can be found on the club's website.

Great job.
Thanks to Max for all the effort he has put in; a job as an interpreter combined with a commercial pilot beckons?!

I did try to read the Alliance manual in French but got completely lost in the section about spinning...

Me again; just noticed a typo on page 1.3, section 1.4.2 which I think should read wing loading, not wind loading?
